CartLift beta privacy notice

CartLift is operated by Impact Marvel. This notice describes the private beta; public installation is not yet open.

Data used

We use a store’s product catalogue, approved product pairings, installation tokens, offer events and references to attributed order lines. Order references, currency, product revenue and refund amounts support reporting. We do not store customer addresses, payment card details or customer profiles.

AI suggestions

When a merchant requests AI suggestions, product IDs, titles, types and selected tags are sent to the configured AI provider. The intended default is OpenRouter routing to Google Gemini; direct OpenAI is an optional alternative. OpenRouter requests disallow provider data collection. Customer and order data are not sent. Suggestions require merchant approval. Manual pairing is available.

Storage and deletion

App data is stored in the app database. Shopify installation tokens allow authorized access. Uninstalling deletes the store’s app records. Shopify privacy deletion requests remove the corresponding order references. For access, export, deletion or privacy questions, contact Impact Marvel at support@impactmarvel.com.

Shopper browser storage

Some storefront elements store small values in the shopper’s own browser (localStorage) and never send them to CartLift: recently viewed product handles, the last pincode checked, and the date an element last reported that it loaded. The load report tells the merchant that an element is live; it contains only the element name and whether the theme is the published one — no shopper identifiers, IP-based profile or cookies are created by CartLift.

Measurement

Random offer identifiers connect selected add-ons to paid order lines. They do not establish that a sale was caused by the recommendation. Vercel hosts the app; Shopify provides authentication, cart, checkout and subscription billing. Support and privacy requests are handled by Impact Marvel at support@impactmarvel.com. The final retention schedule must be published before App Store launch.
